How to use Header Tags in a blog post?

I am going to post content in my blog which contain 5 headings. I know that the title should be in h1 tag. What about the remaining headings all should be in h2 or

    Format1: Title (h1), Sub Heading 1(H2), Sub Heading 2(H2), Sub Heading 3(H2), Sub Heading 4(H2), Conclusion (H3)

    Format2: Title (h1), Sub Heading 1(H2), Sub Heading 2(H3), Sub Heading 3(H3), Sub Heading 4(H3), Conclusion (H4)

    Format3: Title (h1), Sub Heading 1(H2), Sub Heading 2(H3), Sub Heading 3(H4), Sub Heading 4(H5), Conclusion (H6)

Which format is correct or suggests me the exact header tags what I should use here?

    Regards,
    Roger

    h1 should be main heading
h2 should be sub heading( section) according to importance, and make sure it looks visually ok,

if you are using small text size, dont' overuse the h1,h2 sizes.

format 1 will be good ( just make the heading 1 step smaller.)

Format2 looks great. It's what I do on my site, except I don't use h4 anymore. Also, using sub-headings makes the article look much better to read.

    I use format 1 myself.

Also, if you are using a CMS, be sure to check what the H2-H6 look like. In many cases, they are just regular text.

In general, either 1 (in case of small sub sections) or 2 is better but don't go beyond H3.

The headings should get smaller as you move down the page. That's if you wanna follow the official w3 schools standards, or whatever, from what I understand. You don't have to follow the rules, but it's better if you make it readable and make it easy to scan down the page. You want to make it easy on your readers to scan the content fast.

h1 is necessary, your page should have only one h1 header tag, while there is no limit of h2, h3 tags etc... you can use them according to the length, requirement of the page.

    Format1: Title (h1), Sub Heading 1(H2), Sub Heading 2(H2), Sub Heading 3(H2), Sub Heading 4(H2), Conclusion (H3)

What exactly are those 4 Sub Headings? Use ONLY 1 H1 tag and MAX 3 H2 tags for ONE page of your blog/site... And do not REPEAT the same keyword and also don't forget to add your MAIN keyword only with H1 tag and your SECONDARY keywords with H2 tag... Just be sure to check that your blog homepage will have A LOT of H2 tags... Which could be a reason NOT to rank very well... A great way to ignore this is to use NO more than 4-5 posts to be active on the HOMEPAGE!

    :) :) :)

@patco . If i am using lot of H2 in my blog post means that will be a reason for not ranking well?

Yes. This could be a reason, especially depends on the keywords in those H2 tags... if you also repeat a lot of times (more than 30%!) your keywords in those tags, you should change it...
