Advice for using PRWeb.com

Anyone recommend PRWeb.com, or have suggestions for making the most of it? I will be putting out a press release soon regarding an upcoming event and am wondering if PRWeb is the way to go.

Any advice is appreciated. Also, is it worth it to go from the basic "BASIC SEO" press release package ($80) to the "BASIC SEO + SOCIAL MEDIA" ($120) press release package?

I like PrWeb for Search engine purposes. I would go for the $120 offer because it will let you put links in your release. If you are hoping for news coverage, one of the other sites is a better bet. But they're much more expensive. Good luck. :)

Keep in mind any email address attached to a prweb press release will get picked up by a whole wackload of spam harvesters.

PRWEB is amazing. Great service and great value. Depending on your site and content, Id say put as much into the press release as you can afford. Just make sure you have a good editorial score.

Yes, I noticed in the sales pitch it was saying that "if your editorial score is high, you'll also get listed blah blah blah". Do they tell you your score before you hit the "submit" button for the final time? And do they offer tips on how to improve it?

Sorry for all the questions. I just want to maximize the value of my first time there for my client.

The US$80.0 submission package lets you place up to 3 links withing the body of your press release, it works fine for me.

If you schedule your release several days in advance you can usually get your editorial score prior to release, giving you a chance to edit if you don't get high enough.
