I've had a signature link calculator made to help facilitate valuing signatures on my site.

You can view it here and find more info on my blog which compares the calulated value to actual DP auctions.

Thanks to klown for making the tool.

    I don't post much so mines a measly $2.88 a month.

Pretty cool, but its saying my sig is worth over $100 a month. WOW. Might have to list it up for auction or something. Nice tool.

I get $13.20 which sounds about right for 1050 posts and 3.74 per day. Are you sure you entered it right?

Well the last 2 or so months I have been doing 20 or so posts a day and yesterday I did 100 posts in one day. I entered 100 for kicks, but not I just took a little average, entered 20 per day and got $50/month. Not to bad. Nice tool, reminds me a leapfish though (accuracy).

    Sounds about right :D

If you posted 100 posts a day since you joined you would have made 27,000 posts. If you question its accuracy I invite you to test it for yourself by looking at previous sales in the link sales forum. Have a look at my blog post as well. Limitations are listed in the "about this tool" just below the calculator.

Thanks for signing up. Most threads have no PR, even in this forum which I'm sure is linked to more than most, so I don't really think thats a problem.

I would rather have it take the forums niche into consideration as I'm sure signatures in some forums are worth more than signatures in others - much like adsense... but thats pretty hard to do so at the moment its just the two main variables.

If your listing a sig on the site you can get goodies here if you want.

If the calc is a correct representation of market value, I'm selling sig links way too cheap!

I come up with $197.16 per month at 11 posts per day. Though I often go way over that and like last week, have taken a week off for vacation, etc.

Interesting though. I have two sig spots that will expire within the week.

Thanks, yeah I think signatures are can bring the highest quality traffic. Think about it, if a person is passionate about the niche enough to waste their time talking to strangers in forums about it...

You'd be hard pressed to get that price I admit. As I said its most accurate for medium posters, very high total posts or posts per day (or both in your case) can skew the data. There's really not much I can do about it as if I change the equation then it will under represent the value of lesser posters.

Thanks, yes intuitively I'd think $27 would be right. (Edit: I see your selling yours here so if you could, post here and we'll see how close the calculator gets).

If anyone wants to list their sig with a $1 reserve and see how close the calculator gets...:)

Cool tool... I wonder if anyone really pays that much. I'd pimp out my sig for these prices..

BTW, that tool has a slight problem. If you enter your posts as 6,422 (note the comma), it does not work. Might want to re-write it to accept and or ignore the comma. Thanx!

Good idea I never thought about that. I just maxed my credit card yesterday which isn't good in early December so that might have to be put on hold though.

Update on jaree's signature sale: The calculator said $27 and he sold one at BIN for $30 and 3 at $20, averaging $22.5.
