Sending Payment to paypal India barred

    I got to hear a issue..
    One of my respected client from Budapest, Hungary quoted that paypal cant send money to India.

    While making transaction to India, this message popped up..

    "We're sorry. We're not able to complete personal payments to account holders in India at this time."

    Is it happening with anybody else too?
    Please help me with this issue, or tell me if you're also facing such issues..

    I don't think you can accept personal /gift payments.
    Accept as service payment.

    This could be due to people marking services as gifts so they avoid fees.

    Let him send it as a payment for services instead of personal, and it will go through.

    Personal payment stopped in India before 20 months. Only Service or goods will work.
