I have used theme "theme switcher reloaded" along with "floating theme list" and it usually works and gives you a drop down list of available themes on your wordpress site. Its seems most of the theme switchers I have found have not been updated in a while for some reason and on a recent site of mine the switchers I was using seem to break everything and hose all my widgets when switching between Qreator & Avada. Anyone know of a recent switcher that works well? I want the user to be able to choose different themes like you can on the developers sites that make themes. thanks!!
i was in a similar situation before, the way i did it was with a multi user wordpress install + a theme for each subsite, worked very well for me, because i could modify each of the themes the way i wanted.
Yeah I have seen that suggested a lot. I guess that would avoid potential problems with conflicts between themes also? For example I was using Avada which had Layerslider included in the framework. I then installed the Layerslider plugin because I was switching with another them that did not include that plugin. It seemed to cause a conflict though where the site & login page just turned to a blank white page until I removed that plugin. Is multi user usually easy to setup? Last time I tried I couldn't get it to work, guess I will just google it. thx!!!
