Hello, I've always wanted to ask this: If it goes for links, what is more important, quality or quantity? what do you all think and why!
quality quality quality... I have seen many sites outrank much bigger sites with a tiny fraction of the number of referring domains. Might have been a small fraction, but they were of very high quality. This is not 2009 any more!
Google always responds to high PR and relevance if that is what you mean by quality. I have seen that I can rank sites with few links from high PR expired domains than by building thousands of links. I can also remove these links at will
Its always about Quality, One of my site got a backlink from a PR6 website, and the particular article was on the first page on Google in a day. I started getting 500+ visitors from Search engine on that single article. So I can say that quality matters.
I would probably say Quality, it's the most important thing. if your website produces quality content, it will automatically get traffic, hence revenue will flow.
Quality with consistency. You can't just build a few high quality links and leave it on that. You need to keep building more quality links as you go. So, quality with quantity would be the best way to go forward in SEO. Because more quality links give your website more authority.
Quality matters for Google. One quality backlink is always good rather then making thousands link with good quality.
If you have the Quality, You will get the quantity of money and quantity of visitors... So, i believe quality
Quality. You should never spam backlinks to your website. Leave genuine comments on blogs, put the link to your website on your forum profile, exchange links with people in your niche.. all good white hat link building. It'll benefit your website in the long run, trust me.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS QUALITY. I have seen some people rank well under certain keywords with only 20-30 links with high quality. Links are all very dependable on the different keyword you are in. There are many factors to factor in such as competition, domain age, etc... Although quality will always get you much further. Thanks
Both of them important i think quality is more important because i have a website which is really quality and i am promoting my new website from that quality page and all new sites are good.
Obviously quality, but quantity is also not bad if you're trying to rank certain pages from old domains. For example, you got tier 1 links with quality stuff, but tier 2 is where you can do some more quantity over quality as your main goal is just to get them and ranked, to get the juices flowing towards tier 1>your main site.
