Email Marketing - Sending Bulk Emails - Email Hosting from Godaddy

Discussion in 'General Marketing' started by ggservices, Sep 14, 2013.

I tried Email Marketing by sending bulk emails through Email hosting from Godaddy. I bought one month package of 30,000 mails per sent from Godaddy, and i sent 30,000 mails at once. I got the message that 28,500 successfully sent to the recipients and 500 are wrong mails and nearly 1000 mails are bounced back. Godaddy temporarily stopped the service to send further mails and sent one warning mail containing that only verified mails can be sent. Now i am helpless to sent further mails.

They shut you down because you were spamming. Surprised you got that many emails through. Hope that is the only "trouble" you get from doing it.

You might want to consider using other autoresponder service that allows you to send out mass emails without issues. Try Aweber! It's very good.

You should check out Sendy. It is WAY cheaper than any other service, as it is using a new Amazon function to send.

Remember, services like Aweber won't allow you to import or use your own email addresses. You can't buy email addresses and use them with such services.

Why not host your own email service? Why pay for a service and house your precious lists there? Take control of your list.

The thing you got to realise is how valuable was your message in the first place.Did your potential customers know you or was the first contact they had from you trying to sell them.
Flip it round and think about how you would feel. You need to make a good first impression, build a relationship way way before you even think about trying to sell them anything.

    Hope that explained things better

    Best wishes

if you follow the rules and send legit emails.. all is well. however if you hit the user with random offers nothing will work for you. one more thing sending emails randomly wont do any job. only trust can sell your product. make relationship with your customers. and give before you take.

A 1 in 30 bounce rate is huuuge. No wonder they shut you down. This qualifies as blind spam and will not make you money.

on the off chance that you need to send huge number of emails you need to go a decent SMTP servers like getresponse, massmailresponse, aweber however you can't spamming here they are exceptionally strict with your email formats, campagins on the off chance that they discover you spamming they will boycott you immediately so be cautious on your campaigns and make your conveyance best

With that amount, you can register an Amazon SES account or SendGrid account and use their SMTP to send.
They allow up to 10% bounce.

Well, you can use a hybrid email marketing tool called EasySendy Pro in this case as it specialises in sending bulk emails through multiple SMTP server and micro deliverability technology, which will ensure that your emails land safely to the subscribers inbox. This is the best of Pro and it also allows their users to send 30,000 emails to 2,000 subscribers for free per month. Therefore, I think you must give this tool a try.
