    I think most people use Google habitually, just because it's so well established.
    Also, it's index is bigger than of his competitors, however, I often find that relevance of Bing/Yahoo results is better.

    Comparing Google with Yahoo is like comparing darkness and light.
    Google is my best option for me for many reasons;it fast,it has other free features like Gmail,google doc.,Google+ etc.

    both yahoo and google have their own advantages and disadvantages. but yahoo answers sometimes are not enough as they are not given in detail manner. when we search anything in google, it gives detailed information and the results are very good and relevant.

    google and yahoo both are beneficial but i feel google is far more reliable as it provides detail information in any subject matter unlike yahoo. and it is easy to search in google.

    Both of them have different ranking algorithm. If you are just a user planning to look for something and cannot find what you want on google. Try Yahoo to get alternative result. But if you are site owner, you should go for Google, because it can give you significant traffic since Google is still No. 1 globally. Yahoo can only spare you little traffic.

    Google is still king for most users. Yahoo's recent efforts are having some results though it seems. Yahoo actually beat Google for the most number of unique visits in July.
