Contest $50 Contest ~~ Update Logo

To be 100% clear in advance. I like our current logo, below - but I have some some feedback that the logo could be improved to look better on a white and black background, it also doesn't look as good when it is smaller.

So, this contest may not actually have a winner, if we like an entry - then we will use it, if we don't see an entry we like, then we won't pick a winner. We want to make sure everyone knows that upfront.

Here is the logo... the URL for how is it currently, is jpplayingcards.co.uk.

We would like to keep the same colours or similar (black, grey tones) and we would like to keep the JP inside a spade design, but please experiment with everything else.

If we pick a winner, it will be in 48 hours time and will be paid via PayPal only.

That's probably a little too 'busy' with the heart and club inside, nice idea though.

 

It kinda looks like it's squashed, maybe. the JP doesn't look very natural and doesn't seem to fit very well, sorry.

 

I'm not really looking for just a font change, sorry. especially for $50.

 

The spade doesn't actually look like a spade sorry.

 

Is that a zip? I don't think it works with the logo, sorry.

 

It's interesting, but not an improvement really. Sorry.

 

Forgive me if i'm wrong but all you've done is change the colour of 'playing cards' from grey to black???
