What motivated you to learn some Sanskrit? Was it for religious or academic purposes? Does anyone else know some? A few years ago, I worked in Windows desktop and server support for a government department. A woman reported that her document wasn't opening properly in MS Word. I remotely viewed and found it was opening fine, she just didn't understand the text, so I changed the font to Arial and she was amazed it was so simple. A quick check and I found out the selected font was Sanskrit (not a standard font, but it was provided - no idea why - as part of an additional font package).
