Can I delete my Paypal account and create another one?

I have a Paypal account, but I want to delete that account and
create a new one.
I will be using the same address but different debit card.

Will Paypal allow me to do that!?

Why you want to delete your account, if you have a personal account and maybe you want to switch to a business account, then you will need just to upgrade your account!

 

@HostGarou I want to delete my account because now there is an option
to create an account for people from Serbia.
Existing account is made through Bosnia and Herzegovina. I submitted Serbia as a region.
Everything was working when I made payments through Paypal!

But now I want to create new one with Serbia as my country of residence!
That's the reason!
What you suggest me to do?

 

Let see if I understand you, you are from Serbia and you did open a PayPal account from Bosnia or Herzegovina IP addresses and you are using PayPal from a not supported country (Serbia IP address) and PayPal they don't suspend your account!

I think this is not an option because PayPal monitor all the IP addresses, and they may ban your account because of this.

If you attempt to open your PayPal account from Serbia then PayPal already know about this, why they don't contact you about this? I don't know...

I may suggest you to call PayPal directly and describe to them your situation, just be convincing. They will adjust your PayPal account setting, so you will be eligible to open it from Serbia, be honest and don't worry.

PS : you cannot open a second PayPal account with the same email address, they can ban your account!!

At the time when I've created my account Serbia was not eligible.
So I spoke with some friends and they told me they open account through Bosnia and Herzegovina
or Croatia. Like I said they choose Serbia as a region and use their addresses in Serbia.

I've done the same thing and I didn't have any problems!
Paypal didn't ban my account!
But I only used Paypal for sending payments not receiving.
My account balance was always 0.

Paypal worked for me like a link between my card and site where I made payments.
But I'm not sure is this will work when I receive payments on Paypal.

For this reason, I plan to delete this account and to open a new one with a different email address.
But this time I will submit Serbia and my address in Serbia as well.

Will this work? Is this a wise decision?

 

Welcome @Branko Zecevic , if you can send money then you can receive it without any problem, just use another email address when signup with PayPal, but before doing that, make sure to delete your credit card from the old account so you can link it with your new one.

Or maybe the best solution is to contact Paypal directly through email.

 

#1 : You cannot link your credit card twice or with two PayPal accounts.
#2 : You can have two PayPal accounts but they need to be different, for me : I have a personal account for my personal use, and a business account for the business.

Just to inform you that I deleted this Paypal account.
I've created a new account using a different email address and a debit card.
Everything is working fine now!

So, yes anyone can delete a PayPal account and create a new one
without fear of having some problems with Paypal regarding this.

You are good as long as you're using a different email address and different debit or credit card!

I was just about to post that LOL its not rocket science haha.

 

My debit mastercard has been hacked and has had 2 be replaced with same number at front but different no at back so my pay pal account is not accepting my card anymore as I all ready have 1 Please help me get a new 1 started

 

If you don't use your old PayPal Account anymore. Just logout - Delete Cookies and cache browser - Change your IP by restart your modem network. Then create new PayPal Account. That's all !!!

 

Can you contact with PayPal support cancel your Credit Card in your old account ? Because it is you so you can easy provide them Your Name, ID card, ID CCV. Good luck to you !

can somebody tell me ok i have a pay pal account a personal one i wish to open another personal one not interested in business one , i wish to put another card to a new account as well as keep my old account is this doable last thing i want is hassles from pay pal , does it matter when you open a new account whos card is on it etc ! because if i cant dso it my way then i do it no way . i wisah to recieve money as i do with the currect one but just to have a different one , i cant see anything wrong with this but i thought id ask first. Also my wife wishes to open one but she does not have a c/ card in any way or form so can she usae mine to open one ! look on pay pal site it tells you nothing as to what i ask/ try to find out !
