I have been using "Gimp" recently trying to make some good images for my websites. I have a few problems, well things I want to do, but don't know how. Can someone, or indeed more than one person please reply below letting me know how to correctly do the following things. I would also be happy to be told about any tutorial websites, videos, etc.. about using Gimp. Thanks!
    1. Remove background / everything else from around a particular thing in an image, then take that cut out image and place it on another image. Going through the different tools in the software, I found one that kind of does this, but I think im using it wrong as I cant get it to look as if the cut out image is actually part of the new image it has been put on.
    2. How do I make images that rotate? Like promotional banners that have 2 layers of text rotating back and forth with each other. Also how do I do images that rotate too? Like 2 banners put into one, that rotate with each other?
