I'm developing a site called www.dealburn.com the rundown is: Thats a bit about the site, anyone think they'd hold interest in it? let me know, and btw, signup for the mailing list
thanks ....i hope to make it easy for you to find great deals online that you might not have found yourself. for example, someone might find a hidden deal somewhere and when they post it everyone can enjoy
drop shippers are the affiliates who sell on behalf of a company. Example: Gift Baskets. Company A makes and sells great gift baskets. They offer x% commission for affiliates who sell them. Companies B - Z are the affiliates. You offer your deals company. You could have 1 gift basket listed once or you could have 1 gift basket listed 26 times I'd participate in the site if I only saw a product offered once. There is a conflict with bricks and clicks retailers promoting an actual store as the (say) iPod they sell is no different from the iPod another store sells but the deal is still valid. And is markup any different from affiliate or drop ship commission? I think it is, but it's up to you to work out the rules and how they should be applied.
I see... well my site is for ONLINE deals...like say buy.com has a great deal on laptops, you post a link about it
Very good idea but it think you have to develop it more, create something very web 2.0 which enables users to interact as much as possible. I would definitely use your service.
Yeah the site is being built now. It is very easy to use. AJAX has been implemented into it. Its user friendly
