LOL. How true! Be careful though, all your sites just got de-indexed for posting this thread! lol

Rule 4 - If Google decides a link is low quality, YOU must manually no-follow it rather than Google just ignoring it!

5th Rule : AdSense is the only way you can make money on Blogger/Blogspot. All other opportunities not run by Google will be deleted by Google.

    Great post Mr Mac :)

Lest we forget, Google is a publicly-traded corporation. Their ultimate loyalty is to their stockholders, to produce good profits for them. That will affect all they do.

Google's "monopoly". Well, let's look at a few facts:
    1. Monopoly would mean they have exclusive control over the search sector. They don't due to the following points.
    2. There are other search engines out there.
    3. People can choose to use whatever they want.
    4. Bing in particular is very accessible and well-positioned to be popular (due to MS Windows and IE), but people choose to use Google.
So there is being popular and being (or trying to be) a monopoly.

Google needs to produce good profits and the simplest way to do that is make a product people like and want to use, be better than the competition. They are hardly to blame if the competition sucks or can't manage/market itself well.
