I have a .CX domain.I was wonderring, since .CX stands for Christmas Island witch is under the authority of Australia, would it be treated like .com.au in Australia's google?
Anyone ever asked himself that about a ccTDL?

    Cheers!

It depend according to SEO. Suppose i have a domain name .in and i want to make my website top in India , i will do the research on Indian websites not on USA websites.

This doesen't answer my question at all.Lets try this way.
Faroe Islands are under the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Denmark. Now lets say i registrer a .FO domain name witch is Faroe Islands domain extension. Now the question is, how will Google.dk treat my .fo domain name? Will it treat it like a .dk domain?

If a google, already set up their server in that area(country) , it gives more preference to their country domain otherwise no.
