If the kid was smoking pot then he would be as violent as a wet dishrag. Ever heard of anyone who went into a violent rage in a "marijuana-induced frenzy"? And who said he was dealing?

How can this happen in Obama's America???

I read this story earlier. This might sound odd, but in this case, I find it hard to fault the cops. The kid was defacing public property, got caught in the act by the cops, ran, the cops chased him a very long way, he got cornered, charged the cops, and they tased him. Its not like they tried to kill him, or beat the crap out of him.

If the cops overtased him (zapped him repetitively), I think they should be charged. I wonder if tasers have a counter that records how many times they have been fired? If tasers properly used are causing fatalities, the taser companies should have liability, and perhaps its time we reconsidered their use.

Um, what? So, no one can ever be mad or fight while high. Got it.

    Fail!

I hadn't read the part where he charged at the cops.

    Here it is:
It's just a shame. Sounds like he had a lot going for him.

    No, that's a dishonest statement.
Unless provoked, it's extremely unlikely that someone will be mad or fight when high. In all my years in college I've never seen it happen. It's what the courts call "highly improbable" and so you'd need proof.

OTOH, it's extremely more likely that someone who is drunk will start a fight.

What in the hell are you talking about...? Yeah if he was high he would be on his couch eating some McDonalds not fighting...

It's just as possible whether he's high, on speed, crack, drunk, whatever.. . . . All the same!!!!!
