Hi folks, I'm new here so please be gentle! My question is can a business have multiple Facebook pages. To explain, let's say a business is called Jack's Cars (made up), if the business would have regular relevant content specific to each UK city, can the business have maybe 50 Facebook pages, for example Jacks cars London, jacks cars Glasgow, jacks cars Manchester and so on. I have asked Facebook a few days ago and no one has answered my question. If you know I would appreciate your help. If you can have multiple pages, do I need a seperate email address per account and do they have to be linked to a personal page.
Commitment101 Thanks for the reply, so how do I do it? Do I open one facebook account, let's say jacks cars with the email address info@ then when I have this open I create other facebook business pages in this one account? Is that it?
Yes , create facebook account first , then create facebook pages as much as you like with only in one account . dont need to create multiple account for each facebook page ... I have 1 facebook account and i have created 10 facebook pages . Thanks
Ok this sounds perfect. By chance would you know if there is a maximum number of pages you can manage from one account as it will probably run into 50 or 60 pages. Also to open up the first account does it have to be linked to a personal account, or can you just open a business page on its own? Really appreciate the help.
Why would you want multiple pages for one business. It will only dilute your true fans and confuse your clients on which page to follow.
Hi, I suggest you should not create multiple pages on facebook for the same business..Instead of that viral your page on related groups and make some comments under the relevant pages of your niche and add your page link in comments too. Multiple pages can give wrong intense to the readers may be. Cheers!
You can as many pages as you want provided they serve the purpose or till they/you get banned for spamming. Hope this helps Cheers!
Honestly I would not really recommend more facebook pages for one business. It is way easier to have one page and - if it's necessary - begin the posts with something like: "Okay, this one's for Birmingham..."
One page will make sure you get more followers and keep them better engaged. You should then use the targeting tools built into facebook to target people in each region (type your post, then look for the crosshairs next to the 'post' button.) Don't make life more difficult than it needs to be...
