Google webmaster found 404 error in my webpage like http://www.example.com/www.example.com/contact.aspx . i will try my best to find out where that URL placed in source code. but i will not found it. So anyone known how to solve that type of error.
How did you generate the sitemap? Using which tool? Can you PM me the sitemap XML if you need help? Obviously the generated sitemap is not correct since it contains URLS (http://www.example.com/www.example.com/contact.aspx) which do not exist and shall always return 404 error. Regenerate a correct sitemap and submit to get your pages indexed.
thanks for replay @spujap. i used http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ tool for generate sitemap. i will check my sitemap but i can't find any type of errors. Also resubmit my sitemap in webmaster. But still error.... Give another suggestions.
Don't sweat it! Obviously it's good to have no errors but they do happen. If you are expecting people giving freely of their time to act within an hour then you need to wise up and realise that an hour isn't very long... I can't even see that you have asked the question on this forum using this account. I get that you want "your rules" but the real world dictates it's own timeframes.
Looks like an element with a link somewhere on your site that is dynamically generated does not have a http:// which is causing the page to grab the current url to apply the http:// and then adds the incorrect link afterwards.
A quick fix solution for this would be to do a re-direct from this 404 page to the correct relevant page.
yes, Xenu find that broken page but i didn't find my error in that page. I think redirect was last solution for that. But if we will find that error then it's batter for our another e-commerce sites.
you don't need to , some one might have typed wrong address on webbrowser or some one landed from this url to your website . just mark your website as fixed via webmaster tool
Have you done the no follow for the spider bot? Do it fast if you havent otherwise you will loose your google juice
