You have a great attitude but the problem is selling the actual website. Let's assume you can actually stay profitable by selling the websites. Look at who goes on the digitalpoint forums... typically people who are into online marketing and they have at least a bit of knowledge with basic marketing and creating websites. Most people that go on any forums to buy websites have basic knowledge and would only buy something they couldn't do themselves. They aren't going to buy a $30 website they could have made themselves in 30 minutes. The idea isn't bad, you would just have a hard time finding people to buy websites that have 5 uniques a day.

You are optimistic and have a great attitude. You should update this thread with your results to prove everyone wrong.

You are also forgetting the time and effort it takes to do the selling. If you are investing around $7 for a name, then devoting 4-6 hours a website, then the time it takes to sell it, all for $30-50. Take off the $7 expenses, you could be looking at $3/hr for all your effort.

You guys are right when you break it down like that. I was going to sell the 4 sites I made this week but I will try to build up the traffic and revenue to the sites and making it have some value because no one will buy a site that has no value. Maybe i was a little too optimistic... but thx for all the great advice. It was really helpful!

It is better to focus on few sites than creating more number of sites.
You should work on more number of sites only when someone agree to buy it once you complete them.

A young site is likely to be worthless to anyone that is willing to pay for it. If it's bringing in $15+ a month, then I can see someone spending a little more on the site. The more it's earning, the more activity that you are likely to get when you are selling it to someone else. (Essentially people are looking for things that might help them to pay some of their bills even if they have a job).

It might work. Just don't get spammy domain names, try and put thought into them. It's free so why not try.

Here, buyers are looking for sites that earn money as they are trying to earn money basically.

As the site is 3 days old so it is hard to sell, but nothing can be said, there would be anyone who wants this kind of site.

Unless your site is a very much wanted generic name or maintains a high traffic of unique viewers, it will be difficult to make a domain sale.
