Business Zipcode Lookup

I am looking for a zipcode lookup script where the user can enter their zipcode in a form field and receive the closest store location. This is just a basic script that will calculate the distance (radius) from a retail store and match it to the best zipcode. i can modify it if there is a class available. PHP is preferred. im also open to outsourcing this work.

alternatively, i would be open to a hosted solution.

 

Urm, have u done any research on this project, do you know what is available ?

I dont live in the USA and google uk only brings up paid searching / database download services

I found a store locator script ultimate locator dot com
it is $249 but restricted to 1 domain.

 

I can build this for you if you have a database of zipcodes and their lat/long. That's generally how they are done.

 

There are some free ones for sure.

Intensively search Google/HotScripts

I myself used that script, but was a long time and I don't have it now.
