Best way to set up reseller hosting

I just need some professional opinion here. I host some sites for a few people. The know I am a reseller but I deal with their hassles. They will recommend me and then I have to check an email, set up an account yadda yadd.

What is the best way to totally automate this?

I know most people don't like auto whm so what are some other options.

What are reasonable packages also

You can take a reseller account with a host that also support your client.. like Jodohost.com I think provide support to resellers client as well..

 

What sort of flow do you have setup?
I want it to appear seamless. However i know with modern bill it is sort of got a funky back end.

 

I am not really understanding 'flow'
Client exec was real simple to setup, just add packages,server ips, and paypal info and pretty much your set.
We are trying to get an affiliate system set up right now, having some probs with that.

 

by flow i mean that the person signs up and doesn thave to wait on me to do anything and it all happens fairly quickly.....

so with client you can affiliate a reseller accoutn?

 

Yeah it does it automatically, well you set up a cron job to run every so often, default is 30 minutes and it processes all the signups and creates account in WHM and sends email to customer with nameserver, cpanel, etc info..

Can someone tell me what good space/bandwidth versus prices might be?

 

you will just have to browse the competition, the hosting business is very competitive so you will prob not be able to beat the big guys, so you need to find a niche group and cater to them. A little advice is don't offer your lowest price, save that for specials and coupons etc. You have to make a little bit of money so you can afford to expand when you need to. If you don't have anyone working for you and you can't be on the computer 24/7 I would have your email that's requesting support be forwarded to your cell phone as a text message.

 

what affiliate system is good to use. I only want people to recommend the site who actually host htere

i am a member of a few affiliate for hosting...i hear nightmares of people setting up their own affiliates and getting bombed with fake accounts
