    Heh, this is probably going to get fairly interesting. Hostmonster was down entirely this morning. I woke up to skype lit up like a christmas tree with clients freaking out.

    I just saw another thread about hostgator as well

    Another peoples whom using GD also have the same problems. It happen more than three times but in few short periods. Don't know if it is related or not.

    I'm correcting my comment. They use Hostgator and not GD. Apology for wrong statement.

    Heard that over 9 hosts were down today. whats the issue? anyone knows about the blackout?

    This blackout seems to be an issue with a specific DC, that the 9 companies use.
    Or seems to be the 9 companies are just 1 company with 9 different names.

    There were issues with the primary datacenter shared by several hosts.

    It was a network issue in Endurance's Provo data center. The sites hosted in that data center was down due to this issue.

    I had experience with bluehost few years ago - Its one of the worst providers - cheap yes but horrible.
