Hi, I need budget native writers for long term work. I have lots of work and I need someone who will also work quickly and is available all the time. I may hire more than one writer. Please send a sample of 200 words on any travel destination with your bid. Regards, Chirag
Quick question I think a lot of people will have: will the 200 word sample be paid, and is it on the writer's chosen rate that they offer in their bid?
No. The 200 word sample will not be paid. It can be something you have written previously. It is up to to you to bid what you think is reasonable. I will decide who is economic and most suitable.
When you ask for a "bid", it sounds like you're asking for someone to lowball other potential writers and pay out the cheapest price possible. For other writer's clarification: Could you include a budget or an average pay rate that you're used to paying. I'm asking for many other writers on the forum who don't want to submit a sample just to find out you're not going to be able to pay over the $1.00 mark or anywhere near their expected pay rate. A lot of respected writers avoid these kind of threads on purpose because they're busy proposing to other clients and don't want to take the time to submit a "sample" just to find out that their bid is rejected because a client is looking for a slave.
Just so other writers know, I quoted him a penny a word and he responded he's paying $3.50 per 500 word article.
And no doubt you will sell the samples. And yes there are writers desperate enough for work, who will send them to you.
Well, that sounds absolutely wonderful. Especially after this line: From the original message, it appears people will be writing on "travel destinations". Those aren't exactly easy to conjure up, because it requires a lot of research and time to write. I'm sure some of the most esteemed and most visited travel blogs paid their writers $3.50 per article.
As I clarified earlier I don't want you to write any samples. You can send something you have previously written. How else do you expect me to judge your writing?
See I have a project that needs native writers and I cant pay more because the project parameters do not allow me to pay as much. That's just it. If you are drawing any other conclusions from it it is only unfortunate.
So, you've clarified this is indeed the pay rate you're going to pay out and still clarify you need native English quality writers? Good luck with that.
I am an experienced writer that has plenty of experience in finance, social media and technology. Please let me know if you need a writer.
I am also looking for a writer to write for a Bicycle blog. This will be a long term gig for which I would need 5 articles per month. If you are interested please PM me.
You're best to start your own thread looking for a writer. Your post is likely to be missed in this thread or it will be buried if more people decide to reply. With your own thread, you may target the writers who read the first post of this thread and moved on. You can also contact writers directly who replied in this thread. The more details you can give in your post, the better.
I don't agree with you. In my experience most of the writers friendly show their previous expertise and written articles (if present). It's not a tough though. Btw, your other conclusion has some worth.
I make extra income as a translator, been doing it for years. Even with this experience I haven't got a clue what the heck you are going on about. Your English reminds me of Yoda from Star Wars.
I understand, but it does pay to proof.read before you submit. I also go back and edit when I screw up. Doing this will improve our English. (I am not a native speaker of English)
Hi Chirag, I would say this article is half complete. There are lot of details which are still missing. You are asking for sample but not revealing any other details. I would say it would be more wise to stay away from it instead of wasting our time. If you want to gain attention then provide all the info's that you have. Do remember if you want quality then you have to compromise on the price if quality is not a concern then forget the native word. This is just my opinion dunno what others think... I would rather expect all the details in the article like price per 100 words, no. of articles that we can expect every day or a week and so on. Good luck for your search. Esha
