I had got it. I had got half way through the survey and then couldn't handle anymore of it and just closed the browser. So I didn't finish the survey. The thing is, my site that I may or may not put video content on is still having other areas worked on. So I don't know if I will be using that sort of advertising on my site or not yet untill I look further into video and other entertainment content.

I got that survey, too. I filled it out because I have video on my site.

It's about time they offered this service! I hope they implement it soon. It will certainly motivate me to make more videos knowing that i can be compensated for it.

I've just got into the beta for the video ads with valueclick. They are paying $7 CPM for preroll "smilie" & "zwinky" ads, & $4 CPM for post roll.

Considering normal banner ads for smilie & zwinky pay $0.20 CPM, it would be a fair guess that once this comes out of beta, & they have more clients with video ads, we will be averaging over $10 CPM for direct responce ads. I've been hearing figures like $20 to $30 CPM for "brand" ads.

looks like youtube was the bargain of the century :)

It is in beta, so maybe the advertisers are also testing it out and see how it converts. They may change their prices.

Anyway, I will hopefully be testing out the system soon as I will be putting video on one of my sites.

Do video ads count as pop-unders in relation to Google's terms?
