This is really a complex question, and it depends what stage of business you're at. If you don't currently have a product or something to promote, then that's the first step. Assuming you already have a profitable sales funnel, or a product to promote, then getting the traffic itself is actually quite easy. There are a ton of PPC companies you can try, I usually recommend Bing AdCenter, because they are much more accepting than Google AdWords when it comes to compliance. (I've heard of way too many people being permanently banned from AdWords). Another recommendation I would give, is to buy start SMALL campaigns. I'm talking $2-$5 daily budget. That way you never waste a ton of money at once, and can split test which ads get a better response over time.
PPC advertising is quite easy! 1. Sign-up with a PPC service and create a campaign. 2. Create a small text ad (in some cases, PPC can include images). 3. Specify with which keywords the ad should be associated. 4. Specify budget each time someone clicks on the ad. 5. Later, someone arrives at the search engine, enters one of the keywords or keyword phrases specified, and clicks the Search button. 6. The search engine finds the matching ads and places them on the results page. 7. If the searcher clicks the ad, he is taken to the advertiser's Web site, and the advertiser is charged for the click. Quite easy!
PPC in general is very easy that you for every click that you receive from search engine advertisement. But in its nutshell it is very waste. You may ask for simple PPC campaign setup steps are as follows >Create adwords account >Do account level setting and put billing info >Do Keywords research for your business >Create ads for yours business >Now create your first campaign and do campaign level setting >Create an adgroups and specify default bid for your keywords >group your keywords and ads according to relevancy >put your keywords and ads in relevant adgroups >do other campaign setting like scheduling targeting options etc.. >after approval your ads will be live. The worst part with ppc is that you must know your audience, Very much familier with google adwords platform and Google norms and polices. for effective Campaign Performance and Good ROI I would suggest to go for PPC agencies if you are not very much experienced and dont want to waste your money.
Hi Nishant Pathak, nice to meet you. I think that you have received some good points so far. I would like to suggest lots and lots A/B testing and tracking for constant improved performance. Try a different combination of titles and descriptions, along with different landing pages, test different eye appealing colors and track everything on an ongoing basis so that you are constantly improving on your ROI. Good luck! ~Collin
