I am indexed in Google, but Yahoo just won't entertain my site. If any one has ideas please let me know!

Did you know Yahoo uses the Bing SE?

So saying I take it that means you also have the same problem with Bing?

Not sure how terribly obvious this is, but have you tried submitting your site using the Bing Webmaster Tools (works for Yahoo as well) and also listed it on the Yahoo Directory?

Lol - Yes, sorry I forgot to mention that part. Bing is pretty much the same. TBH I always thought that as long as I am indexed in Google then it doesn't matter. However, I would love to get more traffic and of course indexed in all the search engines. I have tried the tools but it just doesn't seem to work!

Well Bingbot spiders crawl just as Googlebot spiders do so how do you know you are not indexed exactly or is is just you are not able to fiind yourself ranked anywhere?

I just cannot find the site anywhere! I have had issues with my site with the new penguin updates and hosting that expired. I figured if I'm listed in Yahoo somewhere then I would have a link back from there from Alexa, but it seems not. Perhaps I am completely going about it all the wrong way!

You can simply submit your site to bing, and it'll be indexed in yahoo also! All you need is microsoft account. Search submiting website to bing on google and it's all easy.

    Good luck

I think the OP already said they did that, hence why I asked them to check the site: search to see if the site shows up...

Thanks for helping! I just hope that I can get the site listed soon.. Also, do you mean to google my actual site name, as opposed to searching the stats on Alexa?

No you need to go to www.bing.com and search using the
    site:http://your-url-goes-here.com
    Code (markup):
to search replacing your-url-goes-here.com with your URL/domain name, then say if it comes up or not?

you should submit your site rss feeds to Bing / Yahoo crawler. Yahoo and Bing have merged their web crawler and webmaster tool as one.
