SearchMetrics.com made a very interesting research, to see what factors have the greatest influence on the results of search engines. Full review: http://www.searchmetrics.com/en/services/ranking-factors-2013/ Now I'm curious about google+, how should i use google+ to affect my website SEO? Write about website updates to g+ or smth?
Whenever reading these studies, it is important to remember "correlation does not imply causation". I think the last bit of your post, OP, is a demonstration of where people blindly follow correlation as cause. Stop by moz.com/blog and moz.com/ugc where you will find a lot of good articles about social media marketing. It's well worth doing, but don't expect a direct impact on your rankings. It will be down to how you build relationships and engage with others (for example, influence people to blog about you and link back to your site). I recommend reading What Do Correlation Metrics Really Tell Us About Search Rankings? and keeping this in mind can help you avoid a lot of SEO traps.
This is really good article I would say. I agree that brand name, social signal and content creation would win the game in 2013.
There are numerous studies appearing here and there that prove the correlation of search engine rankings and social media signals. I quite agree that social is being slowly incorporated into the ranking algorithm. However, what social signals can do at the moment is just slightly improve ranking positions due to trust factor, but without backlinks they are not able to change the game. As for Google+, it's overall a good thing to have one, because with the markup your site appears more reputable for visitors, plus the Google+ markup significantly improves traffic from Google among other things.
google + will be more better than facebook in the future specially i find more persons google + account and content in the first page seo also the same (pinterest ) with me am found my account in the first page so great to boost traffic
Absolutely fantastic post, really its amazing point, you shared here. There are many factors, which affects our website ranking, some are known to us and some are not.
This graph shows that social media is key to success in online business and Google's +1 is most vital one.
Social media is on top in SEO ranking factors it we forget the social media then we can't rank our keyword or increase traffic on our website.
Content creation is really very important these days.. apart from content creation you have to think of natural link building and it would work good, I would say.
Moz's 2013 ranking factors are comprehensive too http://moz.com/blog/ranking-factors-2013. For instance the number of +1's a page on your site has will be an important factor on Google and might not be as important a ranking factor on Bing.
