Well between posting I am of course working, doing SEO and I just got page 1 on Google for a client (in the past half hour) for a 4 word string phrase in a healthily competitive market in under 10 mins and the main two word string within the 4 word string (more searched and so more important to client) on page 2 ready to add to during the week to get page 1 for him as needed. But how quick is the quickest you have got page 1 on Google? I have done the under 10 mins quite a few times in the past, but usually forget to check so who knows how quick have actually done it b4. Obviously this type of quick ranking doesn't happen in all cases or the very highly competitive markets, as one needs to know what it will take and how long it will take and know how to guage so, but nerverthless there is very healthy competition in the one I just did and considering this site I just got it for was hit by Penguin (so the site owner told me he thought after what he had heard and been reading) prior to him becoming my SEO client it is quite a good sign for said clients site since I updated the site design anew and repaired what damage I could find that could have caused the site to vanish from Google after nearly 15 years at the top. But what about you how fast can you get page 1 SERPS at time on 3 or 4 word string phrases?
Congrats! It takes months for me! I would like to know the strategy you used, if you want to share with us!
That's another subject and would be going off topic SERPpoint but it's all about providing the end user with the best answers/match to query (and then some) and doing so by getting good SEO elements structured in place right. It would likely take a good book to explain all the things though tbh and I don't plan writing an SEO book alone as shall await the right person to do so with, which might never happen LOL. Keep the "how quick you have gotten results" answers coming please folks...
One time I wrote 1 post, was on Google in 1 minute, and at the first spot, competition was low to none tho XD
Yeah it's quite easy to do that on a lot of real low competition stuff and many long string / or tail phrases but ones where there is competiton many other factors can come into play... You can get posts here on DP on page 1 real quick if you choose your phrases right. Though it can affect ones own SERPS and you have to be quite careful what you try and play that game with.
It's been about the same for me. 10 minutes or so for medium competition keywords but that is by having a relevant PBN in place ahead of time and using it to Backlink the relative content for the keyword(s). Never bothered timing it.
why ever not you can find some interesting info seeing how quick certain things get ranked and where. DP makes an interesting case study for this to btw.
I think the fastest I have ever ranked on page #1 was probably within a day, although I very rarely check for all of my pages so it's certainly possible that I have done it faster before!
