How To Get Thousands Of Visitors With 1 Simple Traffic Method

When you start to generate traffic to your website, it is always better to master a couple of methods, then to try several and spread yourself real thin.

With that in mind, a simple but very powerful way to get thousands of visitors to your site, is with Forum Marketing.

This can be both Free and Paid:

    1. Free Method:

You want to join 2-3 of the top forums in you particular niche. When you are there -- help as many people as you can, ask questions, and create an attractive signature.

The more you are helpful you are, the more people will see your link -- and click on it.

How To Create A Great Signature...

    1. Have an attractive Picture that will catch people's eye that are scrolling
    2. Next make a statement that will make them very angry/confused/shocked/curious that they HAVE to click it.

***Picture that demonstrates this very well from Source-Wave***
Now as many of you know there are many popular forums, that will not allow signatures. You want to do the same thing with a slight adjustment.
Still continue to read post and ask question where necessary. But when you want to help someone -- respond to their question in their PM box. Be very helpful in answer their questions in great detail with a link back to your website at the end.
Example: I saw you were looking for helpful advice.. "insert really detailed and help advice here."
    Hope this has helped you

    Your site here
    2. Paid Method:
You do this, by simply contacting the site owner and either buying ad space, or get them to mail out is another option.
Remember the key is to focus on one or two methods and becoming a master of them.
If you are still wondering if forums are very effective read this quote by Kim Davis...

Imagine how much your business would grow if you added 14,000 visitors to your site a month for no cost at all!

I hope this helps anyone who is struggling with generating traffic :)

The idea is to use 1 or 2 traffic techniques and master them to the fullest, rather than using
a bunch of it in a mediocre way.

    Great tips mkcookin,

Question, if I start adding a signature at the end of each reply is there a chance I'll get banned from the forum?

Well, everything you said is completely true, that is why forum exists.. It is to generate traffic from it mostly, of course.. If you are a newbie you can also learn a lot from forums, but I always prefer blogs for learning..

The tips you have provided here will all definitely work and have worked for many people in the past. It certainly has the potential to provide thousands monthly, but only on very popular forums and in certain niches!

I would always familiarize yourself with the forums rules. Some forums are very strict about this -- while others are not.

Better safe then sorry I always say -- and just wait until the forum gives you permission to add your own signature. If the forum doesn't allow signatures, just do as I said and pm people with helpful information -- then leave you website at the end :)

I always look forward to reading what you've got to say mccookin! :) haha good stuff, and yes - right on the money. I've seen other forum posters adopt the free method, but go waaay too hard-sell on their methods: helping other forum posters and engaging in conversations only to slap a copy-paste paragraph on how everyone should try their service/visit their website right at the end of each post reply. Big no-no!

Forum marketing is probably one of the best and most effective methods of online marketing, in my personal opinion. Not only that - but you learn as well from reading other peoples' posts. Furthermore, you develop your own writing skills by responding in a clear and professional manner. It truly is a win-win scenario.

Hi mkcookin! The free method works really well - "You need to give in order to get!" Many people make the mistake that they spam and promote their own stuff on forums when they really should help others as much as they can and most of all give as much value as possible! Share tips, tricks, advice, link to useful resources and so on.

The more you can help other people, the better it is for you as well! Forum marketing and other marketing methods are nothing more than building relationships with other people.Being selfish is a recipe for failure.

You gave good tips for a paid method as well.I have never used paid advertising yet (been thinking about PPC and solo ezine ads), but this might be more effective.

    Thanks for the tips!

Definitely. Be sure to always think about making sure you are writing readable posts and also making sure that you are building relationships with people. That tends to be the best way to get things going.
