Paypal accidently credits USD 92 Quadrillion

    A man in Delaware was accidentally credited with USD 92 Quadrillion in his Paypal account, which made him the richest man in the world(Even richer than Carlos Slim) for a short span.

    His account returned to USD 0 Balance when Paypal Staffs found out the mistake. This must be one of the biggest mistakes of the decade.

    that last 2 minutes since they spotted the mistake straight away and the guy who has been credited only saw that on his monthly reports and didn't not have a chance to see that cash in his account. Biggest mistake? surely not

    If I saw that in my regular bank account I would withdraw half of it and skip town...lol

    My mom was poor growing up and she used to buy my clothes a lil big so I wouldn't grow out of them too quickly, so I figured I would do the same with the name and hopefully grow into it someday...

    This was something that really interested me. He did see the mistake and, reportedly, the only purchase he made out of his fortune was a small $30 donation to a foundation which was close to his heart, which he decided he would support. The rest of the money was, reportedly, left untouched. I'm sure he'll receive a small compensation from PayPal for the trouble.

    I wonder how that mistake could have happened! No doubt we are only hearing about this due to the enormous size, but makes you wonder, just how many other mistakes they have made, that havent been caught (or might not have been caught as quickly) as they were smaller payments.

    At any rate, a quadrillion here, a quadrillion there, after a while it adds up to real money. :p

    You lot don't even know or understand about this story stop saying things you don't know about.

    1. This guy only spotted it when it's monthly reports has been sent to his email, it didn't spot the mistake till then so he never saw that amount on his Paypal Account.
    2. Paypal contacted him and apologies for that, something that the man understood and just ask to make a small donation to a charity fundation.

    More about this story? He reported it and when asked what he would do with the cash, he made some jokes like he would buy the Philllies but only for a fair price
