4 Methods To Build Your List FAST!

    Hey everyone,

Just wanted to leave a little input on methods I've been using to build my list. It's pretty straight forward but I see a lot of questions on list building and how to send the traffic to your squeeze pages.

The best way you can possibly build your list is with free traffic. That way you'll never have to buy leads and you can literally sit back and enjoy the profits you'll rake in effortlessly.

Eventhough there is a bit of negative talk surrounding Article Marketing, it's still one the most effective strategies you can use to generate traffic and leads to your sites. If you can optimize your articles for rankable keywords then you will increase your visibility within the search engines. Especially with high authority sites such as Ezine Articles.

But of course with this method it can take a little time to see results which is why I recommend a few paid strategies.

    1. Banner Ads - Don't underestimate the power of images. Banner ads are extremely effective and can be very profitable. If you can present a solid offer via banner ad then your banner ad should be able to pay for itself along with an additional profit. Just make sure you are posting your banners in relevant places to attract targeted leads.

    2. Youtube - Video is powerful and you can use it extract maximum exposure to your sites. Just fire up the camera, talk about a problem that your market has, and offer them a solution which will be a link directing them back to your squeeze page.

    3. Solo Ads - If you want traffic like TODAY, then I highly recommend investing in solo ads. This is the real secret to building huge high targeted lists and you should definitely be using solo ads to build your own lists and promote your own products. This a win-win methods for both you and the solo ad provider(s).

    4. Ad Swaps - Probably the easiest way to grow your existing list is by swapping with other list owners. Basically a "you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours" type of deal. Once you've built a list of around 300 -400 subscribers, start swapping solo ads with other providers. This will do wonders especially if they have a huge list of subscribers.

There you have it! The 4 methods I wanted to share with you to help you build your list fast.

Hope you like it and I hope it helps!

    Best of luck

    Great post.

If I could contribute, I just wanted to mention another huge secret in list building..

And that's making your email funnels profitable.

Imagine if you spent $100 on buying traffic, and then made $200 with it.

Imagine if you spent $500, and made $1,000.

Do you think if you earned that type of return in your funnel...

That you'd have any trouble building your list like crazy?

    :)

    Hope this helps & Contributes.

I have to agree youtube is a quick and easy way to get traffic, and youtube videos are fairly easy to rank on Google right now also :)

If you need quality videos cheap check out fiverr, there are a few providers that can deliver high quality work with a short turn around time.

    Great post!
In case you have a budget to spend
on paid methods (Solo Ads, Banner Ads),
this is a great way to start in my opinion!
Your primary goal is to build an email list.

So idea to spend money on building a list
is well rewarded by ability to participate
in Ad Swaps to further grow you list.
As I understand Ad Swaps is a site where
    you can exchange email messages
with other marketers email lists for free!

    Good tips,

I would like to add that once you build your list, then treat your list with respect and don't just try to send them everything you think will make you money.
Follow these golden rules with your list

    --- Provide Quality
--- Be valuable to your list
---Only send them something which solves problems.

These golden rules will help you build a very strong relationship between you and your list.

Youtube has been awesome for my marketing. I've been able to receive quite a bit of traffic for my keywords through youtube.

Exactly, you don't want to just pitch product after product. You want to provide value for your subscribers to continue building trust with them that way when you actually do pitch a product, they'll feel more comfortable when buying the product.

Give away freebies and "list only exclusive offers" to really grab your subscribers and have them waiting to receive your emails just to see what surprise you have in store for them next.

This site is called Safe Swaps. You can exchange ad swaps and buy(sell) solo ads there. Very handy and secure.

BTW, what is the niche of your list?

    I agree!

You can also use video marketing and solo ads in conjunction with each other. Create a free video (valuable information of course) and use the video as your giveaway to build your lists. People love video and if you can offer them a free video in exchange for their email address then you'll be able to build a subscribers lists much easier.

I hope you meant that Solo Ads are the best way to get traffic and subscribers to your LANDING PAGE. I'd never purchase a Solo Ad to send 'em to my blog.

You know, I run this humongous classifieds, and although I could use the email addresses in our database to email our members and visitors who post in our classifieds, I never do. I am not a firm believer that email lists work at all times (I know some will vehemently disagree). In some cases they do work, but if you've acquired a list by making people submit their email addresses to watch some IM video, don't expect them to be excited and responsive to your emails when they see them in their inboxes. They will treat your emails more like spam.

Exactly! Sending solo ad traffic to your blog in my opinion will be useless. It will be quite difficult to converts those blog viewers into actual subscribers from solo ads. Not to mention your blog will contain multiple pages, therefore taking the attention away from the main goal which is to turn those viewers into email subscribers.

I agree with Khadaji as far as sending your solo ads to a landing page as opposed to a blog. Conversions are much higher. Sending the traffic directly to your blog will do good as far as sending visitors to your blog but the bounce rate will extremely high and you'll lose a potential email subscriber.

    Landing pages work best...point...blank...period!

Why would I never send Solo Ad traffic to my blog?

    ROI.

If you can demonstrate an EPC of *MORE* than 30-40 cents per visitor to your site, I'd be absolutely AMAZED. But you certainly don't have such an EPC... so why would you buy traffic at 30 cents a click that you can buy far far far cheaper?

If numbers are all you want, you can buy 10,000 visitors for about 15$ or so... that same $15 will only get you about 50-60 visitors through a Solo Ad.

Thanks... Took me a long time to learn what I've learned, and it's only fair to pass it along - since I learned at the feet of people who were generous with their info.

That, and the fact that I've spent years making mistakes. Most people are afraid of making mistakes, but this where you learn... how will you ever learn the ins and outs of building Amazon Affiliate sites unless you do it? Or learn how to install and correctly configure Wordpress unless you do it over and over?

No-one should ever be afraid of making mistakes - that's how you learn and earn...

P.S. Of course, I still make mistakes... just less frequently :)
