Need an experienced Copy Writer for Google, Yahoo, Bing News releases for a new corporate launch. What is a fair price to pay for each release what are peoples experience with them
How does $1 per word sound to you? I had a fellow from India almost fall off his chair when I told him that's what he needed to pay me and I'm not even a copywriter. He wanted it all done in French which I would have done, but for *my* price not his. P.S. I always start high and negotiate down. He didn't even want to negotiate, that's when I knew we couldn't do business together. Anyway go with this: Blog posts:$55 Press release:$100 PR & distribution:$250
I have used Copy writers before just looking for professional Press Releases but i have to say your prices are high
Remember the saying - you get what you pay for. If you want something well-researched, grammatically correct, persuasive, etc, then you have to pay high. You are paying someone with a high level of skill for their time. A $100 isn't much. Sure, you can pay someone $5 for a pile of rubbish that doesn't sell the company/product. I guess it depends on how much you value your business and it seems some owners of websites value them very little until they get hurt by their short-term, low-quality tactics.
Thanks I understand that I'm looking for someone to do Corporate News Releases so there is no research only rewriting what we send to them so I would say that is expensive. We are willing to pay for quality but at a fair price to reword what we want to fit google , yahoo, and bings requirements. I do need some articles on our affiliate program to release on a few article networks
MeduJewelry, what are your business goals for these press releases? Are they exclusively for SEO purposes, or do you expect to generate news media stories and web traffic with them? Do you care enough about your brand to make sure that the press releases are accurate, well-written and professional? Or is SEO gibberish OK? I recently managed a public relations campaign for a client's Kickstarter project. I helped him raised $135,000 (his goal was $100,000). We did that almost exclusively with targeted press release writing and distribution aimed at bloggers and big websites in his niche. We also got a tweet from a Fox News anchor about the product launch. I charge $497 to write a 400-word SEO press release plus distribution to Google News. I charge more to create targeted media lists. (That's still substantially less than what PRWeb charges.) My press releases, PR strategy and distribution was probably responsible for at least half of the funds raised by the Kickstarter campaign (around $65,000). For the sake of argument, let's say he spent $4,000 on my PR services. Would it be worth it to you to spend $4,000 to make $61,000? If all you want is SEO gibberish, you can get that on Fiverr.com for $5 a release. If you want a PR expert to come up with a public relations campaign strategy, a media kit, a set of press releases, and targeted media lists, etc. that are good enough to attract media coverage and drive traffic, you should expect to pay far more.
