Without forgetting the other part of any business, sales force or marketing virtually spearhead of an effort. Being a salesperson is not easy. Many demands that must be met for a company. A marketing, have mastered the skills to sell, particularly shrewdness and ability to bring profit to the company. There are many ways to be a reliable and successful marketing. And in my opinion, the key of the success of a marketing is mental. A marketing must have indomitable fighting spirit, perseverance, and discipline. Yup i agree! For me the most important would be networking. That's why no matter where i go or what i do, i always make it an effort to be nice and make friends. There have been times that my friends have actually done successful online ventures together because we make use of each others skills! So for me, having more friends also means having more opportunities to make money online because of shared talent and information.
PR can be a really effective way to generate qualified leads. Qualified leads, by the way, are not "traffic" but actual sales prospects for your products/services. PR or Public Relations is the skillful use of the various news media to gain exposure for your company. Not only does PR increase your name and brand recognition, but if someone reads about you "in the press" and continues through to yoru website, they are interested prospects and you are starting off with much more credibility because you are being "referred" by an independent news organization. The key to getting exposure in the press is to come up with news that is of interest to the audience that you are trying to target. For example, if you sell fishing poles and want to target boating enthusiasts as new potential lead source, you will want to be written up in boat-related media. Now, it is possible that a reporter will be interested in your new line of fishing poles but he probably won't be because much of his readership may not fish. So, if you approach him with a boating story about one of your customers that would be of interest to all boaters and your customer happened to be fishing with your new line of fishing poles, that would work. The key point is that you have to be pitching "news" to the reporter/editor that will be of interest to his readership. If you become skilled at writing press releases and cultivating press contacts, you can eventually become a background source that a reporter will go to for advice in an area of your expertise. You don't get quoted for that article, but they are quick to help you the next time you are looking to get some publicity. The best part is that there really is no out of pocket cost for doing a PR campaign. It just takes work.
