Miva traffic is fake?

I've opened an Miva account recently wanting to try their traffic. But as it's said on some forums, it seems that all their $0.05 traffic is plain junk... My logs show different kinds of dodgy refferers, and what is most dissapointing, 100% of the *visitors* spent 0 seconds on the site

My question is, did anyone have any positive experience with Miva?
I also thought of testing Enhance, but now I guess that's the same bullsh|t..

I used Mova few times with Horrible results. I would do a test with same website where I would run same campaign at different times with Google Adwrods and MIVA. With MIVA I would get more traffic and not a single interest in the product. With Google I would get less traffic and few people purchasing the product. Now that I read some post of the forums it seems that there are a lot of people out there had issues with MIVA. I think it is because MIVA is a publicly traded company and their stock has been taking a dump for few months now. I think they are using bots to generate some income to increase their stock value. MIVA = SUCKS!

There is no interest from Miva visitors simply because they are not real surfers just bot clicking. They should be banned. Stay away from Miva!

I had used Miva & its former platform Findwhat in the past years. As far as I know, Miva has been mainly using contextual traffic partners. I don't expect the quality of traffic from Miva's contextual partners can compare to the quality of any 1st tier PPC search engines.

YES, what he says is true, but i dunno how to check the logs for a 0 second visitor, but what happen to me was almost similar
i tested a campaign at miva and i lost 25 $ worth of clicks (5 cents each) in 15 mins, you call that possible?and worse i checked my stats , not a single "miva surfer" click on anything on my site, ANYTHING!, i take the same campaign and tested it on another ppc, and at least u can see some REAL surfers clicking and checking my site out.

PLEASE IF SOMETHING HAS HAPPEN TO YOU ON MIVA, PLEASE SHARE IT WITH US, SO PEOPLE CAN SEE WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN, I DOUBT THEY MEAN "BUSINESS".

Stepmind, your experience seems to be even worse than mine. I still have $20 from initial $50 on my account, campaign started two weeks ago.. But that doesn't change anything, the traffic I get ( 30-50, $0.05 clicks) is plain junk.
100% visitors left the site without visiting any other page... 0 seconds per visit

In your traffic stats logs you should be able to see how long your visitors spend on your site (I use free statcounter tracker)

AWStats also list the tyime spent on your site.

I also have gotten nothing but bad traffic from Miva/FindWhat.

If they ARE getting most of their traffic from their partner network, perhaps they just have a bunch of cheating partners and they are not stopping it.

Have had the same experience with MIVA. I invested and received loads of traffic for about two days. Guess what, zippo conversion!!! I did the same with GoClick, and sometimes I have the feeling to get trash hits, but in many occasions I actually see click troughs and sign ups.

I will never spend a penny at MIVA again, and would definitely not recommend it. Next to that, they are pretty expensive for selling air!

    Greetings,

    Giorgio

Miva company - Miva Media - is simply one of the worst companies I have ever come across with. Miva is a complete SCAM and a RIP-OFF. Their customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE. Their traffic is the worst traffic you could ever buy. I'll share my experience so hopefully it'll save others some time and headache.

    1. The traffic they sent was all fake. When I would click on the links, there was absolutely no record of my advertising.

    2. Their customer service is in India so when I contacted them about this, they kept saying I had to e-mail a different department and to wait 1-3 days. So I waited and nobody got back to me. Since I knew their traffic was fake, I asked for my money back. I contacted them again and guess what? They told me to wait another 3 days. So I waited. This went on for a long time and nobody ever got back to me regarding my refund!

    3. I only got a few fake clicks and I asked them to stop my campaign right away and refund my money. Over 95% of my budget WAS UNUSED AND THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY CREDIT CARD! Obviously, Miva is a total scam and a rip-off so I have taken actions against them.

Stay away from Miva if you don't want to deal with a company that's a total scam. Their reps are such liars. They kept saying someone will get back to me and regardless of my many e-mails and phone calls, nobody ever got back to me regarding my refund. Keep in mind this is the refund INCLUDES OVER 95% OF MY MONEY THAT WAS NO USED ON ANY CLICKS AT ALL AND IT'S JUST SITTING IN MY ACCOUNT.

Miva is a the definition of a fraudulent company.
