I grabbed myself a copy of Adult Video Script (the one videoswiper recommends), Looks good, and seems to be professionally built.

 

you forgot to mention that AVS has not been updated in 4 years.

Doesnt video swipe cost like $50/mo (ongoing charge)
I would think you can have a coder create a script that would
auto import videos for you, unless you like just freely pumping
$50/mo out the door. You are pretty much paying them to
use their script to import for you, when you can just do the
same by having some type of import script made to run via cron....

After I realised the costs of maintaining this, I agree with you, getting a custom one would be much more cost effective in the long run.

Looks like wpxtube plug in is pretty good but restricts videos to be from their sponsors only.
Does anyone know of any other wp based tube script plug in that allows mass embedding of videos?

 

http://www.cyberseo.net/ is the best one. It allows you to run a full-featured tube on WordPress. The plugin is able to import videos from all popular tubes (youtube, pornhub, xhamstrer, tube8 etc) as well as from sponsore-hosted XML feeds. With CyberSEO you may spin the titles and descriptions, automatically translate them to other languages and so on. Just make a tube and leave it on autopilot.

 

We think http://www.adultvideoscript.com/ is a very good one. It's developed by Envient that also developed the popular ClipShare script.

We also integrated some of our webcam plugins with it (webcam recorder, live streaming, video conference).

 

Sorry, but this is a pile of crap 'out of the box'.

No updates in years, the forum is "new & improved" read:dead and they can't even fix "small" bugs, help customers on their own forums or inform the customers if it even has a future.
They're not a company, they're a joke who sell a woefully broken outdated product as "new" to suckers who like broken video scripts.

• Adding users from admin breaks email approval, also on the members page (community loop) when you add users from the backend - they won't be there.
• Delete a comment it - won't update in the database
• If a user deletes a photo from within an existing album, the information is removed from the database but the photo remains on the server.
  
• private videos are a joke - they're not private at all if you know how to read the source of a page.
• Blocking users is a useless function - literally doesn't work and prevents nothing due to the poor coding involved.
• Unblocking doesn't work, if you do manage to block someone.
• Album bugs on creation & deletion
• Doubling up on friends if you both add each other with a request, you'll end up listed twice.
• Delete user - still there after delete
• Refreshing your own profile gives you profile views, making profile views redundant.
• Avatar creation and handling is a disgrace to PHP.
• PM system is a spam machine.
• No captcha on anything.
• Jquery 1.2 , seriously?

I spent more time fixing this pile of vomited code then I care to go into detail over, Envient you suck. Recently you update your forum.. GREAT TO SEE YOUR PRIORITIES BRO.

Not to mention that within a day of installing this shit and getting your site indexed you will be spammed by EVERY FUCKING THING EVER, i got 4000 SEO Spam articles within a month of using this shit.
A looooot of messages from SEO Managers from companies that were affected by negative seo from my site, i jsut ended up deleting it all.

 

I had to build captcha into a site we used.. the whole thing is old crap and a complete waste of time, it needs a complete rewrite.

 

So what do you suggest?
We also integrated our webcam plugins with ClipShare (from same provider) and ClipBucket (free).
We received spam video submissions for our demo sites so a captcha would be useful.
Found a better script we should consider?
