Hi guys, I have developed a website but have nt any concept of mobile friendly's we bsites... can any one explain me Thanks in advance
Hi there, you should research responsive website design in Google which should give you an idea of how you can make a site that's mobile, tablet and computer browser friendly. Hope that helps.
And boy will he need help as the search results looking for info on such things are some of the worst on Google IMHO not that your advice is not good Lance71 just Google is not good for results in this regard thanks to certain sites mostly.
Sorry it may be a bit vague> there are many many articles on Responsive website design if you look around but you could take a look at an article like: http://blog.teamtreehouse.com/beginners-guide-to-responsive-web-design It should let you understand basically how it works. It also depends exactly on what is being needed when it comes to mobile friendly, a lot of simple sites function fine on most mobile platforms.
I know quite a bit already Lance71, I was just saying the search results are awful in relation to respsonsive web design searches. I have done a lot of research and can't say I fiind Google results very helpful if I am honest and in fact Google image search provides much better results than ordinary serach results in this case in my experience. In fact I am often finding Google image search results are far better at providing something different and more interesting and informative these days in a lot of cases.
Yea, I also agreed on 2 points, I experienced it. 1. Google's help on this issue seems a clear vague. 2. Image search in Google return some more interesting results than web search results.
I'm not sure I understand with Google images, how would it be better than the web search? I understand it could be interesting but it doesn't give you a clear picture on how to achieve the results.
You can find more useful info in image search quite often lance as the results differ form the text search results I find much more interesting and useful stuff via image search than for the searches I do in text search. I think you may be focused on one thing perhaps in how you are looking at what I am saying there. I find lot's of things extra and more diverse when I check image search on top of the text search is what I am expressing. I have found things in image search that I would never have found in text search, as it is almost like having a second Google to play with and get results from. A second Google with no ads clutterrng the results to LOL. But anyhows a much more diverse set of results in many cases and full of extra useful info. Building a mobile site might even be a good example as someone teaching it may have used images in their teaching method but may not show up until page erm 8 or 9 say in normal text search results, but their images appear high up in image search. Hence a more diverse knowledge base to work with rather than just using text search only if you get my drift. Many of the most amazing things I have found over the past few years have been via image search rather than text tbh. It's adding an extra dimension to your "research" answer above reallly if you think about it.
Wow, that's really a different perspective for me - I have never thought of it this way (feels like i have been living under a rock now) Will definitely bear this in mind when searching again. Very helpful - thank you.
No worries. I do it these days on most of the searches I do. I have found it that useful. Though I still find myself down on page 5 or 6 of text results b4 remembering to do so sometimes. You will be amazed at what you can find sometimes, though as with all things search and Google the opposite is true at times to. Funnily enough if you go back to the begining of Google search education even Google say to do this > http://www.google.co.uk/insidesearch/searcheducation/lessons.html take a watch of the first video
