    Well as yahoo own yahoo Q&A they are obviously going to index it damn fast.

    They index it quickly because they have high web authority. It indexes very quickly on Google too.

    Yahoo Answers is an extremely popular site with lots of traffic. I believe that's another reason why things get indexed so quickly on there.

    Well Yahoo is recognised as an authoritative website because it has quality backlinks, high activity, great content -- simply put, it's HUGE, and Google index knows it.

    For your site, focus on good content first. Create content daily, as much as you can. Get it indexed, and over time (8+ months) you'll build a great source of income.
