There is a better community feel here and people are more helpful, at sitepoint it feels like you are paying for a service.

Math20, you hit it right on the ball. This was exactly what I was going to say. I actually was a member there for a while till I found out about here. I love Digital Point. I like it that I dont have to pay to trade services, links etc. Keep up the good work Sean and all of Digital Point

The DP members seem more helpful when you have a noobish question about something. I also feel it's more active and you'll see responses in a much quicker amount of time. Not to mention how the responses are often better here.

I've posted a few questions on both forums, on SP I got about 3 unknowledgeable responses, here I got about 10-20 responses with good feedback. I hardly visit there anymore.

    This is what i learned.

    I joined sitepoint
    SITEPOINT
    Design my Site
    Program mySite
    Manage my Site
yea many tips for forum promotions there
    and i joined
    DIGITALPOINT
    joined publisers network
    shared revenue
    created some blogs
    promoted to Search Engines
    learned marketing
    joined some affiliates
got myself some cash by selling sig and other product for free.
got help some Products & Tools for promotions

so as a whole DP has given more for me over sitepoint.
DP seems to be more public, and friendly
    and sitepoint is like commercial
