What earns more money, text/images ads or link ads?

What earns more money, text/images ads or link ads? Just wondering, currently I have text/image ads on my website through Adsense.

 

Text ads for sure.

It's common knownledge that an actual text ad will perform better than an image ad.

You can't blend an image ad into your site as much as you can with an actual text ad.

Link ads are good if you use them in a good position such as where a user would expect to find the navigation.

But nothing beats the large rectangle text ad IMO.

Is the Google Adsense Search worth using?

 

Link ads get more clicks but earn less money.

 

I've made like, 30 cents off it one day, and never anymore.

I say screw it.

It's nowhere near as effective as the ad units and links but it's still another source that adds to the revenue occasionally.
