Hi, I have a doubt about how search engines read keywords. I´m working on SEO for a Spanish website. Let´s say my focus keyword is "analisis redes sociales" (a grammatically-incorrect common search term) and my meta description includes the focus keyword as such: "analisis de las redes sociales" (the grammatically-correct version of the focus keywork). Will Google still recognize that I have used my focus keyword in my meta description, or the addition of "de las" makes google read the meta description as not containing the keyword? An English equivelant would be a focus keyword that is "social media monitoring tool" and a meta description that includes the phrase "social media monitoring and analysis tool". Does adding "and analysis" mean you will not be positioning your page for the keyword "social media monitoring tool"? Thanks!
You will still be getting recognised as relevant but having your English example "social media moinitoring tool" to use to demonstrate, you will get computed as exact match more quickly with that being exact. You will still have very close proximity (so that is not to say Google only reads exact match as proximity that close also has bearing) and gets returned as relevant by having the "and analysis" and it will then depend on further factors which as we know are many (people we're saying over 200 factors years ago, so heck, what number now who knows for sure, things progress all the time) as to how well that then performs... Personally I would cover both somewhere and I would likely have a couple of pages trying different configurations making sure I had different relevant on page content on each to see what fairs better. When I say cover both I mean have your actual grammatically incorrect keyword in your title and URL's as it is the searched term then the grammatically correct version woven in to the description. btw, your ultra small writing above is really hard to read...
This is correct also and something many many people either forget or are unaware of so well added cartonbabyboy
No worries, & RE the text perhaps you have something set strange or are you using a mobile or something? It's just me, most likely, but I very nearly had to get my reading glasses out to read that small text as had to strain to read it that small
