1-use related post plugin if using wordpress callin (yet another related posts) plugin
2-put special latest news or your article , you must read more about your categories
3-to get easy organic traffic ,must your site be in the first page in seo

firstly if you want people to engage with your ask them to share and lek your post on social site like facebook, twitter etc

also its a great idea you are selling your book but why not offer say the first chapter or 2 for free in return for the email address and as a upsell sell them your ebook once you have captured there email address...

you can do some article writing if you wish and link back to your blog.... convert some of your blogs into powerpoint presentations or youtube videos



engage with more videos, photos etc on your posts, build a brand on your blog so maybe a logo to represent your blog or a cartoon character etc .... so people will easily be able to recognize you

promote your site , in your niche just go to google and type in your niche + forum

then join forums and be as helpful as you can and in your signature add your blog link...... try get more back links to your blog. try and do some jv in your industry .

Firstable I would advice you target your potential audience: the young people interested in IT (as far as I understand). So, that´s a good point because you know who you interest.

Then, try to know where your audience goes on the Internet, on this kind of Forum for example, on some specific blogs, websites, facebook page that display IT content and has quite young audience. Be member of these media and then be active, contact people, help people..

You can work then your SEO by providing content that really helps your audience targeted, working on the keywords they can type on the Search Engine (it means that your content must match with the specific keyword).

It asks a lot of effort but it worth it.

After thinking 3 hours and 7 minutes (to be specific), you will realize that readers would only visit your blog, to see what you are writing for them, what experiences you are sharing with them, what help you have in hand, to attract them. As people said. Look for fórums related to your blog. Go to Internet and type " IT Consultant Intership blogs or forums" something like that and look and then participate. Also you can aske to the owners of those blogs to let you write a guest article and add a link to your site.

Post all your blogs daily and ask people to comment and share, ensure that you post interesting topics to get people involved also using pictures with a straight forward message will get people following your blogs.
