Is VPN safe for loging into paypal ac

Hi guys,
I am going to use VPN to log into paypal ac for transactions, will it be safe using VPN for this? Can paypal track that I am using VPN or they limit my ac?

Yes VPN is totally safe to login to your PayPal account but I'll suggest to use premium VPN instate of Free one

 

I am from india so I need a VPN which can provide me indian IP, would you suggest me any?

 

My old paypal account got limited when I tried to access it through VPN. I don't know if it is really safe for you.

 

If you have indian paypal ac and you use US proxy ip through VPN then it will limit your paypal ac.

 

If you are from India and you are using Indian PayPal Account then no need to use any VPN.

As I know most of premium VPN provider do not offer Indian Ip address. Some of premium VPN are - cyberghostvpn.com, okayfreedom.com , hsselite.com etc.

It seems as if some proxy ips allow Paypal while other's don't. It depends on the iP you use and not the actual VPN. Still, whether you use a VPN or not, you need to ensure your total security. You have to use services you trust.

If your PayPal account is verified through another country's Credit card, then you don't need to hide that you are logging from India or Pakistan. For example, you visit USA and creates a PayPal account and verify it through your USA Credit card, and then you visit India, then you don't need to hide your identity in India, because you have a verified PayPal account.

And I will suggest you to not use Free vpn, always use paid/premium vpn for these type of browsing involving money.

StongVPN is also not good. As well login though VPN is not secure as much we think. As i know , some of the member account get limited after using VPN.

 

Paypal told me it is possible your account can be limited if you login via a VPN, so I'd watch out for it if I were you.

 

I think it will be a problem, because paypal have a record from IP addres the first time you created your account. So if you use VPN and change your IP addres, it will break the rules about unusall login.

I wont advice you to do that because if paypal will ban your account you might fall in trouble you should avoid any experiement when there is a money involved

 

yes, paypal can detect vpn access. But i don't see why they will suspend your account if you are using VPN for legitimate reasons.

 

If you are creating your account with VPN and then wanna use it with VPN, then its ok as long as it is a paid VPN.

This is an interesting topic. I don't use VPN. But this is interesting so I have made a research regarding and I found out that there are different ideas about this. Some users from India make use of VPN but not the free ones. It means that you have to pay. But my own personal research also showed that there are users whose paypal account got terminated because of the use of VPN. I think it is important to really be careful. I will read through some of the TOC of paypal and will let you know more. HTH
