    India? So it seems like, sometimes.


    I guess it depends on how you define "popular". I'll go with "the most common occupation". In my country (the UK) I would have said call centres, but a lot of those have been going abroad. My guess would be that the retail industry is the biggest.

    I was thinking about India, but apparently it isn't.. To much poverty, underdeveloped industry, made me to think that people in India don't have lot of choices when it comes to pick a job..

    I think there is some internet marketing included in all these fields. Most companies do some of that, even if it's just to buy adwords ads or have a facebook presence. But the same people who post these ads or manage those facebook accounts also buy TV ads, print them in newspapers and are responsible of other PR. There is a lot more internet marketing going on in the world than those Indian writers and linkbuilders and our efforts of ranking our affiliate sites etc.

    The most popular job in my country is definitely working for the public sector! I'm just hoping that this will soon change along with everything else that needs to change! :p
