looking for a new game console. it's for my brother. need suggestions on which is better? or is there any other gift ideas besides game consoles?
Well, depends how old is your brother.. If he is really young and into the games, he won't care if it is Xbox or PS4.. If he is teenager who isn't so much into the gaming, then you can pick him something else.. For the amount of money you will take for PS4 you can buy him a lot of stuffs..
If you're going to be playing multi-player games, you have to pay for PSN now as well. That was announced at E3.
PS4 because Microsoft thinks they own the market. The day you have to connect to the internet to play a console game is the day I stop buying consoles. Same goes for the day every game copy can only be played on one system ever. That is why I say PS4. I guess Microsoft changed their stance on these things, but I just can't believe they ever thought it was a good idea. Just shows they are trying to "control the living room".
I will not buy the Xbox 1. Not because its inferior to the PS4 or the games aren't s good. I wont buy it simply because they are changing the industry for the worse. When you spend 60.00 on a game, you should own it. They are killing free trade. This will single handedly kill the used game market. Lets not forget the privacy issue. Is it not strange to anyone that it has to be connected 24/7? That it has to have the connect (Cameras). This may not have been an issue 6 months ago. But does anyone not know who Edward Snowden is? The government might spy on you isn't paranoia, its a fact! MS has voluntarily supported this program and continues to do so. Is it a coincidence that the Xbox 1 is configured the way it is? I don't think so. So I wont be buying an Xbox1 and don't advise anyone else to.
PS4,its time for games come back to playstation,im def picking PS4,btw you wont be able to lend a game from a friend and play on your xboxo lol, games will be connected to console or some shiz like that,absurd.PS4 win.
Neither - PC I only recently got into console gaming and it is fun to not have to install anything and just be able to turn it on and play a game. But, I like that PC games usually have a cheaper price point (especially after a few months have passed since launch), and that you can mod the games.
