Site suddenly disappeared from Google

Hi lovely people. My site was ranking for a specific keyword at no.30 this morning but when I checked again 8 hours later it's completely disappeared from Google. Do you think this is an affect from Google dance or some sort. This is a new site I set up 24 hours ago with one relevant PR2 back links. The positions on Bing and Yahoo are the same. Is there anything I should do in the mean time? Maybe increasing back links? Thanks a lot

Actually, sometimes sites may go up or down or suddenly disappear if competition spammed your site or something, but it comes back later on even on better position so don't worry too much.

Google SERPs constantly fluctuate. Also, the Google Dance doesn't occurred anymore (monthly data center updates), now it's constant.

I think so, Google is doing these things on purpose, to confuse us, I think.

There is such a thing as a "Google Dance" that Google likes to play on newly-put up sites. New sites tend to go up and down in ranks, as well as go in and out of the SERPs as search engines try to determine the new site's relevance to its target keywords. I suggest you check back tomorrow. I'm sure your site'll be back in the SERPs. For the meantime, focus on link building and driving traffic to your site.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

well here me closely, never, I mean never add backlinks to a new site, only social media, you can be banned, google sees that the site is very new and it know that you can't get this kind of backlinks to quickly, wait 1-2 months after you released it and until then just to social media

Seo is like a rubber band Lol.When you give back links your sites disappear or go back and then come back to the better position. My experience in this matter.

If this is the ONLY backlink you built, relax.. Just be sure that this website is NOT already "banned" or blacklisted by Google (because this could be a reason!) // Another way to fix this is to build one or two more QUALITY backlinks and wait for Google to index your BACKLINKs and hope your website will be indexed too! :)

    site:yoursite.com
and see if any results come up?
if not than u are deindexed(screwed)
cuz possibilites are u may be deindexed .. or u might just ahve gotten hit by penguine... or maybe dance or penalties somthing like tht

You shouldn't have used illegal or blackhat methods. Some companies invest millions of dollars into ranking their sites on Google, so why should they be overtaken by a blackhat person who spends $10 for a domain and ranks above them? It's a good thing that you were removed if you were using blackhat methods, and I hope that every site you ever create is delisted from Google and every other search engine too.

And you should try reading a thread b4 posting bollocks that if you had taken the time to do so you would see the OP's site is back and what you said has little to do with thread as that already got sorted.

wtf where did that come from & what was that about? Having a bad day or something are we?
