Good day to all DP members. I hope, I can find help and advice here. We are working on a website which sells eyeglasses and sunglasses. The site is new and has no ranking, few linkbacks and visitors. We need to promote it in UK, Germany and Russia. So, do you have any ideas where we can place our advertisement?
Obviously you will want to put some links and banners at ophthalmology websites, medical sites of any kind, blogs and reviews , price comparison sites.. I would recommend to start a simple affiliate program to promote your site.
Put your link on all the big social bookmarking sites, find blogs to perhaps do a link trade with. There is always Facebook and twitter. Also why not create a few youtube videos describing your products and link the video back to your site. Bison
The easiest way would be to search for webistes that use tools such as Google AdSense. Then you can write to them directly and ask if they want to sell advertising.
Ever considered creating very simple videos to place on youtube? It can be simple, just showcase your items. Alternatively, you can buy ad space over videos that are in the fashion niche.
I would suggest SEO for organic traffic, you can try PPC with googe or bing. It does get pricey. Post your products on forums related to glasses and get some reviews so you can start selling. SEO is the best way to go to get some traffic to your site. You get long term targeted traffic without spending a ton of cash like you would PPC.
Thank you all for your replies. We are doing everything above described. The matter is that we want paid advertisement on popular UK and german websites, but as I'm living in Armenia, it's hard to know which kind of websites are popular and most visited in those countries. Maybe, someone knows a catalog of Uk and german websites with statistics. For example here in Armenia we have circle.am , where almost all armenia based websites are listed as everyone can see how popular they are.
