Hi All, I am an online marketing professional working in an in-house project. Actually performing its SEO activities. I am responsible for the ranking on our targeted keywords. It was going good for some keywords, but suddenly keywords starts dropping its rankings. Although we were performing the same activities as we used to. I do follow guidelines of Google as far as SEO is concerned. What could be the reason of its sudden drop. Example:- We have keyword "web design agency", which was ranking on no.1 position on google.co.in, but now It has dropped down to 5th page (ranking 45) on google.co.in. Please provide your valuable suggestions to bring it to top again.
I suggest you look at your competitors and see which stat they are ahead of you on. It could be they have more and much better backlinks than your page, or the content on their page gets shared more often on social media sites (something search engines love). Hope that helps. Have a good day!
check the quality of your links with majestic seo, the links with a citation flow under 20 disavow them... because maybe the last penguin update hates the links which are not very trusted. Also try to start a new quality link building campaign
I suggest to check your backlinks... If your sites have low quality links or unnatural links then remove or disavow using webmasters tools.
But I didn't receive any message from Google on webmaster tool in regards to any unnatural backlinkings.
hello friend, lose of ranking depends on many factors like (a) lose of quality backlinks (b) no fresh content on landing page over a long period of time (c) high bounce rate of landing page (d) SPAM backlinks/content thanks
please check all backlinks manually and go for a disavow tool. Sometimes, GWT don't send any klind of MSG regarding unnatural backlinkings. thanks
The sudden decrease is penalization of anything you have done unnaturally, you need to do the work slowly for better result, it should be natural too.
