I just read several of your most recent replies. Several are of the type "I recommend fill in the blank." Such replies are not worthy of a like. If you passonately recommend a product, the least you can do is compare and contrast the relative merits of item you recommend over alternatives.

Always ask yourself the question does this post benefit the thread reader. If the answer is no, don't hit the post reply button.

Just a quick example of one of your latest posts:
What use is that to anyone??, you need to explain why sitepoint, v7n and wht are good, share your experiences of these forums, pretty much all your posts are along the same lines and a lot of them could be regarded as spam, probably best not to draw too much attention to them IMO.
Probably the worst thing you can do is start a thread asking why no-one likes you

Honestly, I couldn't care less about links. I have a brain and can find them myself. Make an effort in something you're good at (maybe review people's sites or similar, if you have no technical or business skills). Be descriptive about why you like/don't like something, rather than writing junk such as, "I like your site."

Importantly, sort out your writing style. You only need to use one full-stop at the end of a sentence, not six or whatever. You don't need to be grammatically correct, but try to make it look presentable. Always run the spell-checker, capitalise "I", learn to use paragraphs (a paragraph does not necessarily mean one sentence per line, you can have a few if they are related), etc. It's going to make what you've written look more like it's worth reading, albeit won't get you a like in itself.

If you don't receive any likes, you probably don't post anything that others find useful.

Why so many people can't understand this simple logic?

Here is what you do, stop feeling sorry for yourself and stop giving up. Have some self confidence and get with the program. Just keep at it until you get results. Maybe if you stopped crying and started laughing, we might laugh along with you and the likes would come.......it's called humor.;)

Surely you can see from this thread what you have to do?

Wait for someone to post a feedback thread.

Be condescending towards them and tell them to stop complaining.

    Wait for likes.

He was asking for help, and people have given him good advice, what's your problem??, it's not our fault if what he posts is completely unlikeable and borderline spam, like Devtard said:
    Simple really....

    More Stats:
Total likes received so far on this thread by Others: 15 (Indicates: Fellow members DO 'LIKE' posts)
Total likes received so far by the OP: 0 (Indicates: Better to post something 'LIKABLE' than asking for them)
Just felt like sharing these stats with others in the same situation as OP.

I wish everyone would do themselves a favour and read your post before making yet another thread about this crap. (And also open their eyes to many threads there already giving good advice.)

Their names stick in my memory and give me an aversion to giving them likes. (I wonder if other people feel the same?)

Yes, but I convert them into QR codes for easier storage so my memory doesn't get too clogged up :)

What "like like like please" ?
Don't beg for it. You will get it when you deserve.
Other members won't like your posts unless you post something useful for them.

One line spam replies do NOT help anyone, don't know how many times people need to tell you that.
Well what does that tell you?? if your posts were informative and helpful you would have got likes for them, but they weren't so you didn't.
when you post something worth liking people will give you likes, and begging for likes looks pathetic, i hope you never get any more.
Does that not fall under this rule: (asking users publicly or privately for "Likes" will get you banned).

Well, people tried to give you advice. If you don't want to take it, that's your problem. Maybe because it wasn't easy, but you see what the "easy" (begging) route got you? So, when (if?) you return, maybe you can re-read the thread more objectively and take onboard the pointers.

    Anyway, enjoy your "holiday", mate.

You're right, and the ironic thing is he didn't need any likes for what he wanted to do, he could have just bought a premium membership to gain access to the marketplace/bst so he could sell his terrible scripts.
