How could i rank my blog about music? I have some seo basics..But 20-30 visitis a day... What do i do wrong? This is my blog dimos-musicz.blogspot.gr
first of all try to get a personal website, not blogspot, wordpress etc.. and make it a .com website or a .gr website ( if you want to target people from your own country) After that start with seo onpage, content etc, social, link building etc
Are you a singer? if yes, then whose songs you are uploading, yours or someone else? Main thing is if you are uploading your own songs then no problem. If uploading someone else songs then a single or more DMCA complaints will remove your blog.
You can use the website as a blog but not on yourdomain.blogspot.com I mean a personal website not hosted by blogspot, wordpress etc.. i mean personalwebsite[dot]com
Google provide service, in which you can upgrade your blogspot blog into top level domain and they host all the data too and you can also install wordpress on top level domain.
Firstly, your own songs, so no worries. Secondly, if you want to use BlogSpot or similar, do it. Assuming you see it as a long-term presence (it might be harder to migrate later if you become "successful"). What you want to look at is getting involved in relevant social networking and couple that with some images related to your singing, CD cover art, etc. You can cover quite a few social networks (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram and YouTube if you have any videos). Focus on building up a following. Find like-minded people to follow, engage them in conversation, constantly have a "relationship" with your following. Do things just for them - such as a special song, ask them to vote on a theme, a song they would like you to cover, etc. Look at getting yourself on sites such as Last.fm, Spotify, MP3.com, etc. And also WikiPedia. It's worth having a page, to give you more credibility by name/artist name in search results. A key thing to remember - don't spam, be credible. You are an artist and people will search for your name, it won't be good if it comes up in association with spam. Before doing anything, always ask yourself: does what I am going to do have the potential to make me look bad? All the best, mate.
make a list of keywords related to your music blog and start building links with those keywords pointing to your blog.
