Hi everyone, I recently discovered a little trick to get some good traffic to a website with Twitter so I will share it with you. Maybe you already use it but if you don't, take a look ^^ First, you need to know that is this not an "overnight" trick but it will really works if you take some time to do it. To explain the trick, we will do an example. Let say you have a website talking about lamborghini cars. 1. The first step is to create two twitter account. One account for your website and one other that will be used to tweet every valuable & new informations you can have on lamborghini cars. 2. The trick is to tweet as many as you can good stuff on lamborghini cars on the second account (not the website one). Everything you can find with good informations is perfect : lamborghini crash, last lamborghini cars, a good paint on a lamborghini, etc. * The goal is to be number one twitter account to follow if someone want informations on lamborghini cars. 3. On the other side, just tweet out some informations about your website & lamborghini cars on the first twitter account (website one). You can retweet some of the tweets of your second account to get already some traffic from there. 4. Every other day on your second twitter account, just throw up a random tweet about your website. 5. Keep going like this ! Now you just repeat this method with your website if you don't already do it. This method gives you the possibility to have many good followers on your second account but also you can drive good traffic to your website.
Won't work with everybody definitely, you won't get huge number of followers and traffic for sure, you will probably be boring.. But this is just not my approach to Twitter...
Make Good followers on twitter and Keep interesting Bio with your website on your twitter account, you will easily earn traffic from twitter.
Sounds like just as much work as concentrating on a quality (real) twitter account. And I don't see where the "quality traffic" comes in?
@Devtard : To avoid this, you can just tweet one time a week or wait longer. @Vukasin : You're right, not working for every niche ! @Dgood72 : Quality traffic comes from the fact that you get followers on your second account because you are giving quality infos and after you just redirect them to your real twitter account or website. When someone search something about your niche (mostly recent news about it), your twitter account got to appear on the first page of Google. To do so, you must tweet rapidly (ideally before everyone else) every good (new) informations you can find on your niche. People will just follow your twitter account because you act like a sort of newspaper for your niche.
I saw you post this before..I really like the idea, it seems like it would work for any niche. Great idea mate, thanks for sharing.
I don't see any trick. If you tweet good, interesting things people will follow you. If you put your websites link on your profile, some people will actually click on it. And tweeting with tweets including links to your website also will send some traffic. As I see this is normal way of managing twitter account. Just don't over tweet, too many tweets --> unfollow!
Trust me - it depends sooo much on the country you are living and how well you know the trends, the language you are about to write in and that's gonna be hard as hell to relate to specific time zones. And, at the end of the day, it will be very obvious for your followers that there are 2 or more accounts involved. But you mentioned it right - it might not work for everybody, because it will work properly for a specific niche.
